Due to recent celebrity hit news, we’ve noticed that there were a serie of unofficial and unconfirmed comments that were later on labeled as photoshopping comments. What are they supposed to do and is it a new trend that we have to keep an eye on?
You know what we’re talking about – latest Justin/Selena drama where they did or did not accused each other of cheating.. But, wait… Why would we even know about it, let alone write about it?
Well, as a innovative comments and community building platform, it’s our job to track and know about all possible ways of trolling and spam comments, in order to make ourselves and our product better. So, after reviewing data found on the internet, we came to conclusion that these photoshopping comments are no other than spam that is evolved. We went from the basic OMG! This is the craziest thing I’ve seen (spam link) and trolling to hit one’s nerve to making and faking others comments in order to do – what?

Our thoughts are that this photoshopping comments are nothing more than desire to get instant fame – to get those 5 minutes where everyone will talk about us, making us popular in the online world. Like in the Justin/Selena example – every media throughout the world reported that they have an exclusive in their feud; that he wrote this, and she that, and didn’t even bother to check sources.

Whether those comments are genuine or not, there is another problem here – consequences of that kind of online behavior are bad, as we see it in the same example: Justin deleted his Instagram account, Selena was forced to address the situation on her Snapchat account and many people around the world are now feeling bad.
What we want to say is – there is a way to have better protection and safer commnunication, come check us out.
